The money received from individual donations sponsorships and legacy is used exclusively for the programs. In order to reduce costs, all expenditures are handled by the Balthazar Centre associations themselves. In the case of major spending requirements, the umbrella organisation, BALTHAZAR PLANET applies rigorous financial controls. Another of BALTHAZAR PLANET's task is to ensure that administration costs are kept as low as possible by all BALTHAZAR CENTRE NGOs.

All activities are punctiliously monitored by the Financial Department of ADSi and by recognised auditors.

Both internal and external controls do not only verify that all income and expenditure is properly accounted for, but also ensure that the principles of economy, efficiency and effectiveness are observed in all procedures. These measures enable BALTHAZAR PLANET to direct money where it is most needed.
